“In the years before, I had become very sedentary and didn’t watch my diet so I gained a lot of weight and as a result, I felt terrible and I had a lot of joint pain especially in my knees. A few things I learned along the way: you’re never too old (I’m 59).  Sign up for both exercise and nutrition coaching, even if you think you know it all.  They go hand-in-glove, plus you’ll save the cost in groceries every month (truly).  Spend the time to think about and answer her questions honestly.  Don’t try to put on a good face, you’re only short-changing yourself.  Don’t give your future self credit for what your current self isn’t willing to do.  Finally, revel in what you are bringing about – becoming stronger, fitter, more active, and more capable.  It’s like finally arriving at your future self.”

After years of procrastination, the time came when I knew I wanted to make a change.

I contacted Chris, after following @Ireneironfitness and @ireneirontravels on Instagram and YouTube, on the “how-to” on full-time RV Travel.  It was there, that I found out about the online business of Health and Fitness.  It was perfect, as now WE were full-time Airstreamer’s.

Workouts are perfect, even for a 63-year-old.  I have enjoyed expanding my workouts to incorporate resistance bands.  Walking has again become fun and look forward to hitting my daily step goals.
