GREEK MINT TURKEY BURGER

Here is a quick and easy Greek mint turkey burger recipe perfect for a no-fuss dinner after a busy day.  This uses all dried spices, so you can make it in a pinch without any special produce purchases.

PREP TIME: 5 Minutes
COOK TIME: 10 Minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey (93%)
  • 3 tsp dried mint
  • 2 tsp dried minced onion
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp dried garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tbl olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine turkey, mint, onion, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined, careful not to overmix. Divide evenly into 4 – 4 oz patties.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium/high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Add turkey patties to skillet, cooking each side until golden (about 4-5 minutes per side) and cooked through in the center.

SUGGESTED TOPPING OPTIONS:
* 1 tablespoon of sour cream mixed with lemon and capers
* 1/2 ounce of feta cheese
* 1 tablespoon of tzatziki sauce
